Bar-Test

Used to detect minimal esophageal strictures; Bar-Test™ provides an intact contrast medium in esophagoscopy.
Bar-Test™ contains barium sulfate.
Prescription half-inch diameter, 10 grain tablet.
The patient swallows the tablet intact. The tablet shows up on esophagoscopy. Because the size of the tablet is known (1/2 inch), the physician can easily estimate the size of the stricture.
Bar-Test™ tablets dissolve in about one-half hour.
Bar-test™ is available in bottles of 100 tablets.
